Basement

To ensure visual consistency, the teams chose a core colour palette and applied it to the entire basement—along with a few accent colours here and there. Keep reading to discover the chosen shades!

Team Blue’s Colour Palette for the Basement

For the basement, Team Blue opted for a palette of soft, neutral, and warm greys, with black accents. These light colours help make the space brighter and more welcoming.

Team Red’s Colour Palette for the Basement

For the basement, it’s Team Red’s turn to choose a series of soft greys with green undertones. This palette blends perfectly with the wood accents.

The Family Rooms

Since the family room is a high-traffic area, the teams applied the primer-sealer Sico GoPrime followed by top-tier paint Sico Prestige for an ultra-durable finish.

First Floor

To ensure consistency throughout the first floor, both teams used the same colour palette in the open-concept space as well as in the rooms.

Team Blue’s Colour Palette for the First Floor

Team Blue chose a range of pale greys with subtle green undertones. In addition to being a perfect match with natural materials, such as wood and marble finishes, it makes darker colours richer and lighter shades more vibrant.

Team Red’s Colour Palette for the First Floor

Team Red chose to go with warmer shades of grey. While light colours create a nice contrast effect with more modern black accents, medium or dark shades make the wood stand out while adding a touch of sophistication.

The Primary Bedrooms

This week, the teams used the Sico Classic range for the primary bedrooms.

The Living and Dining Rooms

The open-concept living and dining space is an extension of the kitchen. Therefore, the two teams kept the same colour palette as for the kitchen to ensure a unified, cohesive look. The range they chose is Sico Prestige.
