It 8”
I bought these to fit in a shelf bracket that is exactly 8” deep.. this is 7 1/4” making it sit 3/4” away from the wall or upturned end of shelf.
It is very light and the stain was irregular and missing in spots giving it a rustic but cheapness look.
I had to reinvest in a different style of shelf bracket or buy full dimensional slabs.. I choice the latter.
The shelves are ok but pricey , I will use them on another project.
