Description

Awesome and Powerful Oscillating Tool
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this tool about 2-years ago and it still performs as well as the day I bought it. It has lots of power to make precise cuts and polish/sand most surfaces and materials.
The tool is larger than your average oscillating tool, which makes it easier to hold steady as you unleash its 7.0 amp power.
Really glad I bought this.

Its a beast.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took care of close to floor cuts of wood trim for my wife's tiling task and went along on a trip to my daughter's in Houston for modifying exiting fireplace wood trim.

Great tool !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 4 years ago and up till a month ago, haven't really used it much. But I've been working on a bedroom restore, drywall, joists, closet, the whole thing. I used this tool to cut out drywall, flooring, rim joist, sill plate, nails and was the greatest thing to have on hand to use. I did use other tools too, including a remel rotary tool 4300 and a dremel ultrasound US40. Great tools! Love Dremel.

powerswitch broke after 7 uses
Got to a job site and the powers switch would move but not turn the device on...embarrassing to say the least. was only used to cut electrical box holes in drywall.

Awesome Tool
This thing is awesome. I am remodeling my kitchen and living room and I've used it while putting down 12mm laminate floors cutting subflooring out from under the toe kick on the cabinets, getting the flooring under the door trim for entries and pantries. Sanding around the windows. It's a great tool. I do however recommend buying the more expensive cutting blades if your doing alot of plunge cutting or trim trimming. The cheaper ones wear out super quick. The tool itself is awesome wish I would have gotten it years ago.

Works great
I'm pleased with the Velocity overall. It does what I've asked of it - mainly straight small precise flush cuts and cutting off nails. I will say the tool gets hot quicker than I would expect in the conditions I'm using it, though never to the point where I couldn't get the job done. Also the tool itself is not the most ergonomic shape for ones hands while making precise cuts.

Tool won’t turn on
I bought it back in February, used it twice to cut small notches in 12mm laminate and 1/2” hardwood flooring. Next time I go to use it, it won’t turn on. Switch just moves freely. Not me first Dremel but definitely me first Dremel lemon

Great tool, needs a couple minor improvements
This tool works great cutting 2x4’s fascia angles were simple with this tool.
The lever for locking in the blades flops a bit. The blade stays locked, just the lever is loose. Also the shut off switch isn’t easy to work, it’s loose. I would push the switch off, but it wouldn’t shut off.
