More lift please
My first mowing season is nearing the end and all I can say is your mower is nearly perfect. I would like to see even more lift, if possible, from the high lift blade. That would do it for me. Oh, and another nicety would be for the rear hatch to lock in the open position while dumping the bag.

Big Improvement
Why isn't this the blade that comes with the mower? It would improve peoples mower reviews because the cut is the biggest complaint. I replaced the stock blade with this one last year and I really like it so much more. I mulch my grass when I cut and this works better in my opinion. The couple times I used the bag it also worked well. It has a little deeper sound, approximately same run time and does a much better job of lifting the grass to get an even cut.

Disappointed
Blades are the Ego's weak spot. The mulching blade that came with the mower doesn't mulch well. I purchased this blade based on reviews that it was better for bagging, which I do. Disappointed to say this blade is worse than the mulching blade. Leaves grass trails behind. I mow every 5-7 days, so it's not a matter of the grass being too long. I have to mow two times, which is really a major downside of this otherwise good mower. I would stick with the mulching blade.

Much better blade
Agree with previous review. This blade cuts better than the standard blade. The runtime for me was a bit less and a bit higher rev on motor.

It's an improvement
Used it for the first time this week and I'm pleased with its performance. It delivers a cleaner cut than does the stock blade. The blade design causes the mower to have a deeper tone. I observed no change in battery life in use. IMO, this should be the standard OEM blade, not an option that requires an additional purchase.

Been using it for 4 months now, worth the upgrade!
Great blade upgrade compared to the stock mulching blade. I thought of using both, but 4 months later, on two different mowers, mowing about 20 houses a week. I have no reason to use the mulching blade as this one picks up more and cuts cleaner. Only issues observed. 1. Louder, but still quieter than a gas mower. 2. Mower revs up higher, at least on startup, this causes slightly less run time. 3. Discharge chute still leaves lines of grass. The last one is not a blade issue, but with the new blade, I wish ego would re design the discharge chute. Overall, if a cleaner cut is more important to you over the slightly louder blade, you will be happy.
