Cheap Plastic. DO NOT BUY THIS.
Toilet is now leaking worse than before. I have to remove the whole thing and take it back. The flapper to the bowl is cheap plastic and does not seat. Don't waste your money.

All the Parts Needed to Repair Older Toilet
I have 2 American Standard toilets that are 30 years old. One was on soft water and the other wasn’t so the various rubber pieces seemed to age at different speeds. I repaired one about 10 years ago before this all in one product was available. That time (10 years ago) I had to buy individual parts and I had trouble finding the big flange between the tank and the toilet bowl. In spring 2020 I bought this all in one kit (on the advice of a customer service person) and it contained everything I needed and the big flange fit perfectly! I am now having to redo the toilet that I did 10 years ago so I am buying the same kit again. This kit includes parts to replace every part of the tank about the bowl (including the flange between the bowl and the tank). One thing it doesn’t include is a new water supply line – since you have to disconnect the water supply anyway it makes sense to get a new high quality braided stainless steel supply line to avoid a possible problem with the old one leaking especially since there is a chance you damage it when you disconnect if for the first time in many years (the length needs to be carefully calculated so it is long enough but not so long that it kinks). When you are done, the only original parts are the porcelain parts of the toilet and the wax seal and bolts that hold the bowl to the floor. Some points of advice: One: use everything in the kit and replace ALL the old plastic parts with the new stuff in the kit (even if you think some of the old stuff is not worn yet because you don’t want to have to repeat the disassembly to install a part you thought was OK). This means that you take the tank off to replace the gasket between the tank and the bowl (even if you think the problem is only related to one of the items inside the tank). Two: most things hand tighten or only need a pair of pliers or flat head screwdrivers - however, I found that I needed the really big plumbers pliers (i.e. that can open to 3 or 4 inches in size) to loosen the big plastic nut under the tank. Three: once you have the tank off, take advantage of the chance to scrub the inside of the tank clean after all of the old plastic parts are removed (you will need a large sink or bathtub) – the old black rubber seals seem to give off a oil/tar like residue as they decay over time. Four: assemble as many of the parts into the inside of the tank that you can BEFORE you put it back on (you can replace parts after the tank is reattached but it is much easier to do this for some of the parts while the tank is up on a workbench). Five, I found it easier to have a wet vac nearby to pick up any water spills.

Didn’t fit
The mechanism that goes up and down on the fill valve is not able to because it touches the inside of the tank. There is styrofoam on the inside to prevent condensation that is interfering. *Note this an American Standard toilet tank.
