Description

Transcend Rope Swing Deck
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample of Transcend Rope Swing Board. I walked on it and was so soft not like traditional deck wood. I spilled thinks on the board. Clean up was a breeze. I only wish I could afford to replace my deck with this material.

The perfect decking material
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] TREX decking material is the absolute best.
We used cedar to build a deck at our old house. For the first few weeks, it was gorgeous. Then, it began warping and splitting. Screws began popping up and cutting our feet. It requires endless cleaning and weatherproofing.
Based on the above, we began looking for a synthetic decking option. We found TREX and couldn’t be happier. The deck is perfectly constructed (lumber frame and TREX flooring, rails and steps). The deck is made with hidden attachments (no nail pops!) and is warp and weatherproof. The color options are wonderful and matched our house’s trim perfectly.
TREX is the only decking material we would recommend. Best in class!

Looks strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sample I am going to use to make a sign near my pool deck.No way to tell how this product would function unless I had a deck made of it.At least the sign will be exposed to the elements so I can see how it holds up to rain snow and hot sun.

Great quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having this sample deck board made us realize how much trex decking would be perfect for our outdoor space. The tread is just enough that it won't be slippery when wet. I highly recommend getting this decking

Nice Look
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a sample piece to see what the newest Trex product looked like. I got the Transcend Rope Deck Board so I could compare it to other deck options. The hard plastic exterior shell does give you a nice wood look on each board and the interior material resembles compressed wood. The pros I saw included easier maintenance since you won't have to keep resealing over time and the fact that you could pretty much just hose down your deck to keep it clean. I personally don't know how the outer shell will hold up over time. That makes me a little worried since the initial price per board is more than traditional wood deck boards. When you scratch up a traditional wood deck it adds character but getting Knicks or gauges in this material could allow water into the inner wood area. Traditional wood can be sanded to get rid of blemishes this material is less forgiving. I do like having less maintenance so I still may invest my time into a Trex deck.

My Transcend Rope Swing Deck Board Sample
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The board sample is heavy and very thick. I pored water on it to see if the board was water resistant and it is. The water bubbled up. Some spots on the board are not smooth when I run my hand over it. I stepped on it with my foot but not sure how good it would feel to walk on it with bare feet. These would definitely be different from using regular wood decking boards and from the texture of the board they would definitely last many more years.
