Form the Triangles

  • 4.1 - Since the screws will be visible, use a combination square to mark the same measurement on each triangle joint. This ensures a cleaner finish.
  • 4.2 - Drill with a screw digger bit.
  • 4.3 - Screw the planks together using wood screws.
  • 4.4 - Repeat for the other two triangles by following the measurements in the plan.

Pro Tip

Adjust the drill bit based on the length of the screws. Be sure to use the screw digger bit intended for the screw head size.

Assemble the Trees

  • 5.1 - For each triangle, measure out the middle of each bottom plank.
  • 5.2 - Line up the three triangles, then drill a hole through the middle using a ¼” drill bit.
  • 5.3 - Join the three triangles using a nut and bolt. Insert a washer between each triangle base to prevent rubbing.

Pro Tip

For greater precision and stability, pre-drill the middle hole using a smaller drill bit than the one used for the final hole.
