Industrial pulley with caged pendant

This hanging light takes only one hour and three steps to put up, and is perfect for the dining room.

Determine where to install the light fixture

1.1 - Using a pencil, mark the ceiling at the desired location. If needed, hold up the pendant to simulate the placement.

Since the switch on the cord will be removed, the electrical outlet should be connected to a light switch.

2.1 - Drill a 1/8" hole and screw in the hook. If needed, use wall anchors to secure the fixture.
2.2 - Place the pulley onto the hook.

3.1 - Cut the cord just above the switch, remove the plug from the end of the wire.
3.2 - Insert the wire into the pulley and pull to the desired length.
3.3 - Reattach the plug to the end of the wire.
3.4 - Put in the lightbulb, plug in, and turn on.
