Description
This 36-inch-wide 5-burner Whirlpool cooktop provides the space and power you need to cook meals for the whole family. It's equipped with a warming element that will keep dishes at the perfect temperature until everybody is ready to eat. A light warns you if the cooking surface is still hot so that you don't burn your favourite spatula or oven mitts. This stovetop features 2 FlexHeat dual radiant elements that deliver the right amount of heat to pots and pans of any size. In addition, this appliance can be mounted in multiple ways to suit your preferences, like above a wall oven or as a standalone cooktop. Furthermore, this model's smooth ceramic glass surface and dishwasher-safe control knobs make cleanup a breeze. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour.

So much easier to clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Builder provided this and glad he did. It has been an adjustment going from a gas to electric cook top, but I am doing well and like it. Just beware of sugar spills. Follow the instructions in the owners manual and you will be alright.

Nice features and build quality.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased to replace 20+ year old cooktop. The old cooktops did not have the new metal glass support this model now has, is much more sturdy when mounted in the countertop. Would have preferred one of the larger heat elements to be in the front.

Whirlpool Black 36” cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this cooktop. It was a challenge to get it though. Purchased it in December 23. This model was the right size for our replacement. Finally installed on March 8 after one installed had a broken corner in February. The controls have moved from my original whirlpool cooktop on the right to the center so getting used to that is interesting. Heating of burners is very good.

Not as easy to clean as the Gold Series Model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased on 10/5/2023 to replace the gold series 36 inch that was not working properly after 5 years of use. This unit distribute heat more effectively and heat water a lot faster than the model I had to replace it with. However, I find that it requires more work to clean than the gold series model. Mainly because of the striated surface of the non-burner parts of the unit. Requires extra wiping to remove polish which was not necessary on the gold series model, which wipes up to a bright shine using microfiber towel or paper towel.
