My review is exactly the same as one listed here already. I had an earlier version of this system and replacing the "0" rings only stopped the leaks for a short time. I then replaced the whole system and that one was leaking within a short time. Although I'm out about $500 by now my fix for this was to get rid of Rainfresh and I've already installed what I think is a much better system with no more leaks so far.

After several year of use, no complaints
Bought one of these several years ago. For the price and the filter prices, this is a good unit. I had the water tested from it by a professional since owning it, and while it does not filter all minerals, the job it does is on par with Britta and more expensive systems. I am buying another today for our workplace.

Leaky O rings from
Invirogard under sink
I had an earlier version of this system. It leaked at the top because O rings not sealing.
I bought a whole new system but got a leak at the top because of faulty seal again.
I will buy new set of O rings to protect money spent. If they leak I will throw the system away and never buy rainfresh again. It should be simple to provide a good seal

works but it was not easy to install the faucet
works but was not easy to install faucet in a granite countertop without leaks. The length of the threaded tube on the faucet should be made a half inch longer to support thick countertops because there was barely enough space left to wrap with teflon tape. After 3 attempts, with the last using 4 turns of teflon tape plus thread compound on top, I managed to get the slow leak on the faucet underside stopped. I used a braided 3/8 faucet hose instead of the supplied plastic tube on the bottom of the faucet because the supplied plastic tube was too short. This also allowed me to join the braided hose to the supplied plastic tubing in a more accessible spot than up behind the sink. Rather than using the supplied saddle valve, I installed a shutoff valve (similar to a toilet shutoff valve) on my copper pipe with a compression fitting and ran the supplied plastic tube to that fitting. The faucet actually requires making 2 watertight connections with teflon tape (unless a braided hose is used) because of an included metal threaded adapter ring that matches the smaller size faucet bottom thread to the larger size of the included plastic tubing, I had no leaks elsewhere including the 2 push on connections of the plastic tubing to the filter unit.

Best investment ever
I've had this product for over 6 years now . I could not be without this system ever . As for the few bad reviews , what I can see is , if you put even the best of products in the wrong hands , they blame the product , but its their inabilities that are at fault , not the product . This kit does the job A-1+ and is cheap and easy to maintain . Easy to install for the knowledgeable person . I recommend NOT using the piercing valve that comes with the kit . Use a compression ball valve instead . Excellent product .
