Description
Keep air fresh and circulating with this Venmar EA1500 air exchanger. It purifies stale air by using a washable aluminium mesh filter that captures many allergen particles. The unit not only exchanges inside air for fresh air from outdoors, but also reduces humidity and condensation. This Venmar air exchanger is well suited to spaces up to 2,000 sq ft in size, and it's easy to install. It also offers multiple modes to choose from. Set the exchanger to minimum, maximum, or recirculation to meet your home's needs. A maintenance light lets you know when the device requires attention. The unit moves air at up to 185 CFM (cubic feet per minute).

Ça fait bien le travail pour lequel c'est vendu
Le mien vient de rendre l'âme après 38 ans de service. Je ne pensais pas que ça se vendait encore. Il est vrai qu'il y a eu une campagne de rappel à un moment donné mais comme le mien était enregistré, Venmar est venu remplacé la pièce. Est-ce que je recommande?
Oui, car je le remplace par le modèle de remplacement.

Petit mais Efficace
Aucun problème avec ce modèle. S'installe assez facilement. Bien lire les directives et le tour est joué. Très efficace et contrôle très simple d'utilisation.

40 000 rappel selon santé canada
Faites attention, Venmar fait l'objet de plusieurs rappels (40 000 systèmes) et la compagnie VENMAR fait un rabais de 100$ pour remplacer le systeme, c'est vraiment ridicule, imaginez vous achetez un appareil qui risque de prendre feu et comme dédommagement ils vous font un rabais de 100$ pour remplacer l'appareil....
