Leaked
Bought valve a couple of years ago and installed on a toilet supply line. Recently had to remove and reinstall the toilet about a month ago. No apparent issues until today when I noticed water damage on the baseboards. Found water leaking from the threaded portion of the valve. Water had been slowly dripping for some time. This bathroom is not often used. Baseboard is ruined and floor is damaged. Thought maybe the supply line needed tighted, so attempted to tighten it, hardly any pressure on the wrench and the threaded end broke right off the valve. Now water was spraying under high pressure all over the bathroom until I could get it shut off. Have bought and used Sharkbite fittings many times before with no issues, not sure I will replace this one with another Sharkbite brand valve.

Easy installation
Pushed on the fresh cut copper pipe under the sink. No problems at all and it took only a few minutes. Bought it at Ace Hardware.

We have a defective valve
I have purchase shark bite valves and couplings in the past to make transitions between our cpvc pipe and new pipe or new fixture lines. We got a valve last weekend that must have a small crack in a seam. It was impossible for me to remove to replace because of its position in front of a wall. Had to hire a plumber instead. My husband took a video of a fine spray coming out of the seam. This has been very disappointing.

Include a simple instruction paper.
I bought various shark products for my laundry room and bathroom plumbing project. All but one worked great and if you would have put instructions in with each product it would have been no big deal. Not knowing that they can be removed after being installed made my life miserable I didn’t leave enough room between the wall and fitting to install the removal fitting. Why wouldn’t you include a simple instruction paper instead of the lame picture guide on the package. Harry homeowner isn’t a professional plumber.

Usually I am happy but....
I have used SharkBite in the past with no concerns, but I installed a angle valve to install for the toilet. I am starting to notice it is now dripping just below the nut to the toilet hose. I may try another one to see if I got faulty one.

Every old stop I replace gets a new Sharkbite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using these stops a couple years now. So far not one has leaked and you only need an inch of pipe stub to install! Whether its PEX, Cu, CPVC or even PB these stops can be used. Cut the old stop off, ensure the pipe is burr free and slide the new Sharkbite stop on. That's literally it. I especially like the look of using them in combination with a 3/8ths pex riser and either a SB toilet or faucet connector. Easy, leak-free and last. Try em!

Awesomeness in plumbing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this in preparation for installing a laundry room sink. We were both skeptical of the ease of installation. But, after cutting our pipes square, making sure the pipes were squeaky clean, installation took about 5 minutes. NO LEAKS! We're sold!!!! My only criticism is the labeling of the pipe sizes on the package. Found it somewhat confusing, but then hey, we're about as far away from being plumbers as you can get.

Impossible to Get Apart
My new home was built with this system. I went to replace a dishwasher and bought the disassembly tool, but it will not come loose. In fact I can not get any of the Sharkbite connections to come loose, even after visiting Lowe's twice and getting schooled on how the system works. This means to me that it is too easy for the plumber to do something to render future work by homeowner impossible. Conspiracy of plumbers?
