The canopy that came with this swing is too short ... !!! Has anyone had this issue? Is there some sort of trick to get it on ?! Any help is appreciated... otherwise, I will have to take it apart and return the whole darn thing!
some found it too short, mine slid on perfectly. Quality control is not high on their list.

Really good looking solid swing - but major flaw
This is a very well constructed, elegant looking swing/balancelle. See pic. However: "The Canopy" - We read all the reviews, spoke to the staff in Rona, was assured that it was just a matter of force to secure the canopy. Wrestled with it, soaked it overnight, fought with it again, but could not install as intended. Realized that even if we could install it, the canopy would be so tight that it wouldn't be adjustable and that take-down and re-install would be an annual horror. Finally got it wedged enough to zip-tie it in place. Looks great. Would we buy it again - yes! It is that good.

Très beau style en générale.
Bonjour ! J'ai acheté dernièrement cette balançoire et je ne l'a recommande à personne. Je suis quelqu'un de bricoleur et habile et quand j'étais sur le point d'installer le toit, je n'ai jamais réussi, j'ai essayé autant comme autant et je n'ai toujours pas réussi à installer le toit. Dans mon cas, le toit n'est pas assez large, donc je ne suis pas capable de rentrer la vis qui retient le toit. d'un côté ça va et quand on vient pour installer l'autre bout, je suis incapable. Il y a quelqu'un qui avait écris un commentaire du genre, que le toit n'était pas assez large et je ne comprenais pas, mais là, oui. La dame est retourner avec son toit et elle n'a pas réussi à l'installer. Je comprends pourquoi, je crois qu'il y a un défaut de fabrication, il faut que tu forces en SVP pour le rentrer et moi je n'ai pas encore réussi. Ce n'est pas normal de forcer comme ça. Au magasin, je ne sais pas comment ils ont fait. Bonne chance !

Achat - Très déçu
J'ai acheté cet article et le toit trop petit, je suis retourné en magasin, on m'a donné un autre toit et il avait le même problème. Même sur le démonstrateur, le toit n'était pas installé car problème avec le toit également. J'ai retourné la balançoire. C'est dommage car celle-ci était très solide.

Easy to built /top too tight facile a monter toit!
Bought it, built it ok, there was a bolt missing and we had to wet the canvas to be able to strech it not without pain and strenght. Roof canopy is too small. Finally I was able to strech it and properly installed it.

Great Swing except ...
Love the swing EXCEPT the canopy is too small ! I had my strong son-in-law try to put it on and it left him with a big gauge in his hand. It will not fit. ! so very upsetting. I have the swing all set up and this was the last thing to do. I recommend it IF you don't need to canopy !
If anyone else has or hasn't had this problem I'd love to hear how it was solved.
