ABOUT US 

If there is one business in the Eastern Townships devoted entirely to its clientele, it is Matériaux Laverdure. Customer satisfaction has been central to the store’s operations for four generations now and keeps on going strong. The store evolves according to its clients’ needs, to the point of even creating custom-made products!

Established in 1929 by Louis Beauregard, great-grandfather of the current owners, Louis-Marie and Jean-Marie Laverdure, the store passed into the hands of Mr. Beauregard’s son-in-law, Alfred Laverdure, in 1942. Alfred’s son, Louis, took over the store’s management in 1949 and spearheaded the construction of a new building in 1972. Eight years later, with the support of his two sons, Louis-Marie and Jean-Marie (the store’s future owners two years down the road), the building was renovated and expanded to over 10,000 sq. ft. In the Valcourt area, the store remains a veritable institution.
