Description
This Schlage keypad deadbolt lock is easy to install on any standard door and comes conveniently pre-loaded with two codes and is easy to program with up to 10,000 more. The deadbolt features a free spinning deadbolt turn that's vandal resistant. Illuminated keys offer quick and easy keyless entry and they have a wear resistant coating to prevent wear patterns. The Schlage keypad lock runs on a 9V battery for up to three years.

Do not buy this lock
I have had 3 locks for 2 years. When you press the buttons outside the thumb latch just spins and spins it is kind of like gambling one of them have stopped working and the other one is more miss than hit. From the reviews there is no doubt in my mind that this is a known issue with Schlage. For the money I paid for these locks they are junk. Looking for a different lock.

Do not use this product in Canada
Bought this product and installed on my house and garage doors. Worked great until the temperature dropped to -10C then the locking mechanism would not catch the latch and it took several tries to release the latch. I just replaced the last one this weekend.

we changed all our looks including our shed to this style of combination lock.
before our son lost the keys to the house 3 times, always worried about someone finding and breaking in. Now I still worry his friends will pick up the combination and tell someone else. This does leave us concerned. My daughter makes her friends wait or turn around, she says her friends ask her to do the same thing. Mutual respect.. (girls are smarter then boys, don't tell my sister though)
