Not real oak
When I bought mine, it was already broken, the screw ripped off, and you could see it was made out of compressed wood. Basically is just plywood with a coating on top of it. I returned mine. I feel scammed, it's not worth the price it's marked at. Just get the bamboo one, at least they sell at the real price.

Acheté pour remplacer les sièges blanc cheaps en bois qui finissent par perdre leur revêtement avec le temps. Le bois est beau et durable. Apres deux ans j'ai poncé un peu les bords, ca se fendillait un tout petit peu, et remis de la teinture. Je crois que le bois va durer longtemps. La quincaillerie, par contre, laisse a désirer. L'axes des charnières est en plastique et l'une a cédé. Je ne sais pas si je vais pouvoir racheter juste les charnières.

very inferior product
I bought this a month ago and gravely disappointed in this product. Seems to me that a faulty product was returned and shelved again for resale. Color is fading.DISGUSTING I am having problems uploading the picture.. I will do send the picture later if I have time.
