Description
Grill away! Sterling 50,000 BTU propane gas barbecue, with its large cooking surface of 644 sq in (4155 cm²), will allow you to make the most of the season with your friends and family. It is equipped with four stainless steel tube burners (40,000 BTU) and with one side burner (10,000 BTU). It also features the Flav-R-Wave stainless steel cooking system, a linear flow valve system, the Sure-Lite electronic ignition system, and an Accu-Temp thermometer. The cooking grids are made of enamelled cast iron and the warming rack is porcelain coated. Backed by a 10-year limited warranty on the cookbook, a 5-year warranty on the burners, and a 2-year warranty on parts and paint.
- The frame of the grill is constructed of galvanized steel with a high-heat black paint finish to provide superior rust protection
- Grill has a total of 644 square inches of cooking space, with 444 square inches of primary cooking space
- Linear-Flow(TM) valves provide the user with infinite heat control
- BBQ comes with a limited lifetime warranty on cast aluminum components, 10 year warranty on the stainless steel components of the cookbox, 5 year warranty on the burners, and 2 years on all remaining parts and paint

Not bad
I bought this a month ago, only problem was after 3 times of use, the ignition turns on the middle burner, I had to buy one of those long bbq lighters to start the other burners

Not a great bbq
Bought this bbq a couple of weeks. It’s very flimsy and had problems with the igniter since we have it. Just waiting for stores to reopen due to lockdown so I can return it.

Absolutely the worst bbq you can buy!
Don’t waste your money! Everything will rust within one year even if it is alway covered when not in use. No matter how desperate you are, do not buy a Sterling bbq!

Great BBQ
Bought this over 5 years ago and still going strong. Needs to replace the heating plates but I never cleaned them often. People complain about rust - do not scrub cast iron grills or even let them burn off to clean. Cast iron needs oil/grease for best results. Mine rust only if I have the hear up too high and it burns off any oil/grease. I use a wood bristle bbq brush.

Excellent grilling but poor design
This BBQ grills a steak to perfection. Solid built however poorly designed.
- 3/4 open bottom and while permanently closing front 1/4 which is mostly used makes no sense.
- Leakage front left and right extremities of the lower pan
I understand cost cutting 75% of lower panels but closing the single most used front opening is unexplainable. Pan must have a minor flaw since chronically leaking
Fix these 2 design issues and this is an excellent BBQ.

Poor Quality and poor support - Avoid Sterling
I bought this grill a year ago. It came by purolator, box was in perfect condition but the BBQ inside was damaged leaving me to believe it was packaged that way. Big dents in the lid and body. I thought OK well no problem, I bought this because everyone says Onward (which makes this grill provides amazing support) couldn't be more wrong. Called and was told the parts would be there in a few days. 2 weeks later the replacement parts arrived, also arrived damaged due to being packaged completely improperly. Onward refuses to ship me a full new BBQ and Rona wouldn't let me return it. Took over more 4 weeks and several calls to get the parts replaced again.
I've now been using the Grill for 1 year and can tell you the quality to very poor. Starting to rust on the stainless lid, also on the frame. Burners are already rusting out and will probably need replacing next year.

Il chauffe et cuit bien, mais plusieurs aspects du bbq devront être améliorés. Le système pour diriger le gras de cuisson est vraiment mal fait (le gras sort par des trous de vis ou des fentes et tombe sur mon patio). Faut vraiment mettre la viande TRÈS proche du centre si on veut éviter que ça coule partout. Aussi, les brûleurs sont lent à allumer. J’ai eu des bbq 100x plus cheap qui partait en 0,5 sec. Bref, un peu déçu pour le prix.
