Good product - exactly what I was looking for.
Great product! Great price! It does a pretty good job keeping most squirrels away as long as nearby branches are trimmed. It also does a great job keeping weather off of feeders. My only complaint is that the hooks are made of plastic that squirrels can chew through or break over time. I replace the top hook with a 1/4 inch metal hook that will screw into the bottom plastic hook to make sure squirrels can’t chew through. Home delivery was pretty timely and painless. Overall very happy with this product and would order again! (I have 4 so far - and the price was half the price of a farm supply company).

great price, has metal hooks
Was buying them at local farm store before covid, got new feeders, needed more, did search and found these same as farm store but less than half price. I like the fact that they have replaced the two plastic, screw together hooks with one double ended hook with the plastic base welded to the hooks. No longer having to worry about screw hooks coming apart. Made previous hooks out of steel clothesline, easier to attact to bird feeder hooks.

Really Squirrel deterrent, shipping packaging bad
Product does what it was made for, this is our 3rd & 4th unit. Our 1st one has a crack in it after 2 years, fell on ground & steel Cable clevis hit dome, squirrels chewed thru 3 layers of nylon zip tie retainer at branch & top of hanging cable (replaced with Steel Cable around Tree Branch). Only down side be prepared to end up with a 2 foot x 2 ft x 2ft cardboard full of waste plastic bags from Rona’s Receiving Department from unpacking products that are put out for customers to buy. Item was dropped in box no padding under it, all garbage plastic on top of it, Box only needed to be 6 inches tall with proper packaging, surrounding item.

This is not a weather/rain guard
Bought one on the strength of two reviews here (one with photos) claiming that it doubles as an effective rain guard. Having seen how it assembles I fail to see how it can. The dome simply sits loose on the supporting hub so that it can tilt; there is no option to lock the dome on the hub. The only way to make it water-tight would be to permanently bond the dome to the hub with a high strength, marine grade cement suitable for acrylic plastic, and likewise the plug with the double ended hook that inserts into the hub for hanging. So I returned it. Such reviews are misleading unhelpful. Can't comment on it's value as a squirrel baffle.

lasts about one year as plastic deteriorates after exposure to sun, rain, snow, heat and cold.

Birds now dining in the dry and squirrels not.
Works well (so far ) at keeping the squirrels off the feeder but we’ll so for how long. They’re clever.
Keeps the rain off well but could be a bit bigger.

More than a Baffler
I purchased one of these years ago to use a squirrel baffler and quickly learned it is an amazing weather guard. It has lasted a solid 3 years. Living on the west coast, we have now purchased 2 additional to keep our hummingbird feeders dry.
