Produit qui dégage beaucoup de chaleur, mais se consume rapidement. Offre peu de valeur ajoutée à la saveur des aliments, ce qui est généralement recherché lors de la cuisson au charbon de bois. En somme, pas un vilain produit, mais clairement pas au somment de ma liste, sauf si je cherche une chaleur très élevée.

Le meilleur pour une braise intense
J’ai essayé plusieurs charbon brute naturel depuis 5 ans et c’est un des meilleurs que j’ai utilisé. 100% naturel. Thin blue line en 2 minutes. Allume facilement et rapidement avec une cheminée.
J’utilise seul pour braiser ou en indirect pour reverse sear. Petits morceaux En combinaison avec briquettes pour fumage long terme (1/4).

low heat, very sooty
bought a bag because my regualr lump charcoal was out of stock
this burned with lower heat and left an unpleasant sooty/smoky flavour on the burgers and wings

Thought I would give it a try, I normally use Kamado Joe Big Block or Jealous Devil....this is the stuff you would normally find in the bottom couple of inches of these other bags, pieces are tiny absolutely no good for long cooks. Save your money avoid this product.
