Xtraflame(R) kindling wood is made entirely of recycled wood and provides quick and easy ignition. Unlike burning newspaper, this kindling wood doesn't leave any residue that could clog your chimney. Each pack contains 0.3 cu. ft. of wood.

Sorry I bought this terrible product! C..P!
Won’t ever buy again. all three packages I got were soaking wet inside.Supposed to be kilm dried ,they certainly missed the step.After four weeks inside they still don’t burn 🔥 properly.VERY POOR PRODUCT.

The packages of kindling I got were not the manufacturer I ordered,then when opened opened the were certainly not Kilk dried they were very soaking wet to touch!simply they would not start fire .purchased others elsewhere and were good,

Un produit presque parfait!
J’ai acheté ce produit à deux reprises. Il brûle très bien. Cependant, le premier sac contenait presqu’entièrement de petits morceaux de branches. Ce bois ne pouvait donc soutenir la bûche écologique que je déposais de biais dessus. Le second sac contenait un plus grand nombre de morceaux de taille plus satisfaisante.

It burns
While it is strictly speaking wood, and it does burn, it is not the kind of kindling I covet. Pops, and sparks continuously. Much better to get some proper seasoned hardwood, ash ideally, and a cheap hatchet, and split some of your own. Plus a teeny bit of exercise. Frankly I cannot understand why this product couldn’t be as good as the stuff I split, charge me more, just make it worth it.

Dry and light
Bought this to start fires while hiking when dry wood is not guaranteed. Wood is in small pieces, light and very dry. Very happy with this purchase. Only need to carry a few pieces with me to get the fire started. It's not cheap, but worth it and I'd buy it again.
