Not happy.
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Nothing but misery with this unit. I spend more time rescuing it from going outside boundaries than I would cutting my lawn once a week. It cannot handle the mildest of grades and cuts the grass far too short on level 6. It chews up the perimeter so badly that I have to adjust the boundary and reseed. Has it made my life easier? Just the opposite. Even adding the heavy duty wheels had no effect.

A Game-Changer for Lawn Care: My Robotic Mower Exp
When we moved into our new home in 2021, I made a bold decision: no more manual lawn mowing. Our previous yards were small, but this time, I took a chance and invested in a robotic lawnmower. After three full summer seasons and starting a new one, I can confidently say it was well worth the price.
Pros:
Effortless Maintenance: Say goodbye to pushing mowers. The robotic mower does the work for you.
Quiet Operation: Powered by rechargeable batteries, it’s super quiet—no more disturbing the neighbors during early morning or late evening mows.
Precision Cutting: The mower handles our lawn with ease, even around flower beds and trees.
Time-Saver: I’ve reclaimed hours each week that used to be spent on manual mowing.
Cons:
Initial Cost: Robotic mowers aren’t cheap, but the long-term benefits outweigh the upfront investment.
Advanced Features: Some models come with rain sensors, anti-theft features, and mobile apps, but these extras can increase the price.
Overall, my robotic lawnmower has transformed lawn care into a hassle-free experience. If you’re tired of mowing, consider making the switch—you won’t regret it! 🌿🤖

Taking the work of Mowing with Worx Landroid
I have two of these robots doing my yard mowing, and they are great. I have them programmed to mow my yard a few hours each day, 7 days a week, and my yard always has that just cut look. All I have to do is pick up the sticks and trim once a week. They have saved me countless hours each week.
One is in the backyard with my dogs, who go in and out of the house. After a bit of adjustment by the dogs, it does not bother them. They have learned to stay clear of the mower but don't avoid the backyard because of it.
I never intend to go back to mowing the yard myself again. I love the Landroid.

Impressed
I was reluctant when my wife bought this for my retirement, but I am pleasantly surprised by it. Set up is time consuming, but only has to be done at the start.

Satisfied
Good day everyone!
I bought a Landroid WR155 about six weeks ago. This was for the cottage with approximately 18,000 square feet of lawn with many (12) flower beds and many (15) trees to go around. A slope of 10 degrees continued towards the lake and at some places 15 degrees. An uneven terrain with many bumps. So not an easy terrain to go by ! As we do not have internet or WiFi at the cottage and the Bluetooth was not working since the robot was too far away to maintain the link, a manual operation was required. Note that the flower beds have a small groove all around to retain rainwater. No borders.
My experience:
1) Yes the installation was difficult. My wife did not believe in it, so I had to do it alone. I used a trimmer to make sure the wire was on the ground. It took me almost eight hours to complete the perimeter given the complexity of the terrain. I used about 800 feet of the originally supplied wire but I had to buy about 100 extra pegs to hold the wire because there were many turns of the robot and therefore the need to secure the wire well in a loose soil. Note that I left a little thread (2-3 feet) many places in case of problem in the future.
2) After doing a traditional first cut with my lawnmower, I started the robot.
3) The first cut allowed me to discover the faults in the perimeter wire layout. After making the corrections, I realized that the random mowing meant that the obstacles (i.e. trees) were not always approached in the same way and that sometimes a certain angle mobilized the robot near the roots. So I corrected by adding a border on some trees to avoid prominent roots.
4) Another difficulty was when the robot was sloping down towards the flower bed and could not brake fast enough to not get into the flower bed and declare an out-of-zone. I simply added an additional 2-3 inches to the wire to be away from the bed to allow the robot to brake in time.
5) Of course, I had two wire cuts. This was mainly in areas where there was a lot of moss and not grass and when there were important turns for the robot. I corrected the whole thing. To detect the cut, I had to go back to the segment test and, of course, it was in the last 6 feet of the 800 that I discovered the break!
6) Battery life is approximately 2:30-2:45 hours due to the steep terrain with many obstacles. Charging is between 1:30-1:45 hours.
7) I cancelled the rain delay to see what would happen in case of rain and during rain. Well, I don’t recommend it since the robot slides on the grass during rain and tends to lift the perimeter wire during the turns and thus subject to later cutting it.
8) Now that the robot is operational, I decided to put in ground (1 inch) some sections of the wire, mainly in sections where it has to turn.
My Suggestions to Worx
1) I would have appreciated being told what the cut levels were. I understand that “1” is 1.5 inches and “6”, 3.5 inches, but in between?
2) What happens during a power failure?
3) What happens when a wire breaks?
4) Could we have an operation guide in addition to the installation guide?
5) I would have appreciated more than two wire connectors.
6) What is the minimum border height for the robot to knock it and return?
In Summary
I am satisfied with the robot’s performance. I hope it will continue like this for several years!
I hope my experience will be helpful to potential and current users.
Ciao!

Fully Electrified and Automatic Lawn
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and installed and I'm really quite happy. I'd suggest that the robo-mower industry writ large consider framing this as not just automation but also electrification!
I'd say there are a few caveats. My yard has some areas with a bit more shade where the grass is a little bit thin. Sometimes, the wheels tear up the ground a bit before they get traction. The app is beautiful but I have a fairly large perimeter to area ratio which means the zone algorithm sends the robot driving the perimeter a lot. It would be really slick for future wired robot models to have a wiring accessory that lets you make smaller wired areas or that combine them into one larger area. There appear to be DIY options for this and of course you can just do this with a switch/relay or two, but it could be a nice thing to have first party. I'm at a full half acre and this seems to be keeping the whole thing nice and tidy which is great. I'd love for a tad more weight to give the wheels better grip, and it can slide a little bit if its wet+sloped so keep that in mind when placing your boundary wire. All and all though, quite happy.

Very good robot mower for low vision persons.
After reading all the negative reviews and watching many negative videos I decided that I would still give the Landroid L a try. I am glad that I did. This robot does a fine job in my opinion. There are some minor improvements that would make it even better. I will get in to these later in this review.
I not only purchased the Landroid but I also got the ACS, Dual Off Limits , Radio Link and Garage . All of these accessories work very well.
First of all I am 73 years old and almost blind. I went with a robot mower mainly because of my poor vision. I decided to bury the boundary wire instead of pegging it down. It is only buried to a depth of less than one inch. I did this all by myself. I buried around 850 feet of wire. It took me 5 days and was hard work as I did it with only hand tools. I think the extra effort will be worth it in the long run. Before I buried the wire I tested different areas of my yard with the 165 foot accessory kit wire by pegging it down in places that I thought might be a problem for Landroid to mow. I found that these areas were not a problem after all. I was mostly concerned about the slopes in my yard. The slope runs right to the boundary of my yard so I could not stay the recommended distance away as noted in the manual. The Landroid did not have a problem over running the boundary wire as so many people have complained about. This may be because the firmware has been altered to rectify the problem, but I do not really know this for a fact. Any way I went ahead and buried the wire.
My yard is quite bumpy and this seems to not bother the Landroid at all. I bought the Anti collision system as an add on so I would not have to make no go zones around my propane tank, bird feeder pole, well pipe, observatory and a tree. It works very nicely most of the time in avoiding these items. Once in a while it will bump in to them but not a big deal.
I have it mowing two zones which are the front and back yards. I seperated the zones by running the boundary wire 6 inches apart through a passage way seperating the two zones. I also used small lengths of magnetic strips to prevent the Landroid from leaving the zone by following the narrow 6 inch passage that the wire created. I had to do this because the Landroid did try to enter the other zone through the 6 inch openning. I have also set up two short cuts with the magnetics strips and the dual off limits module so the Landroid will take a shorter way back to the charging base. These two uses of the magnetic strips are veryuseful as well as it's no go capability.
I have been running the mower for four weeks now and it has not got stuck once or over run the boundary wire. I have run over pine cones and small twigs with out any issues. So far my lawn looks great as the Landroid does a great job of maintaining it at a set hiegth of 2.7 inches. I have it mowing each zone for two hours each every day unless there is a rain delay.
The battery life seems to be quite good. I have the 6.0 AH battery and it used only 35% over a 1 and 1/2 hour ttime period. Of course it was not cutting much grass so I guess the life will shorten as it cuts more grass.
The mower works very well but the free app can be a bit of a challenge to figure out when it comes to redefining zones. The instructions for this are somewhat lacking. When I tried to re set up the zones I kept getting error messages. After a lot of trial and error I finally figured what needed to be done to accomplish the task. Befor redefining zones you need to first disable multi zones in the app. I also needed to run the mower and send it back to the base using the controls in the app. After doing this I was able to redifine the zones. The initial zone set up was however very easy to do.
This is not a real big deal but it would be nice if zones were handled differently during a rain delay. My yard is divided into two zones. My Landroid was waiting out a rain delay before starting to start mowing zone 1. After the delay ended and mowing of zone 1 started it started to rain again so the mower returned to it's base as it is supposed to do. When the rain delay again ended the mower went to zone 2 instead of finnishing zone 1. It would be nice if it would resume mowing the zone it was in when the rain delay occured. I have my zones set up so that the mower can not leave it until it returns home. I have the mower set to mow zone 1 for 1 1/2 hour and zone 2 for 1 hour because zone 1 is larger than zone 2. When what I described above happens the mower will then mow zone 2 longer than zone 1. My only solution to this is to make both zones have the same mowing times. To accomplish the different times for each zone I had the mower going out twice a day. In other words schedule 1 corrisponds with zone 1 and schedule 2 with zone 2. This works great if there is no rain delays. Another solution to this is Worx changing the software so that the mower returns to the zone it was in when the delay occured. Just a suggestion to make a great mower even better.
I also modified the garage so that it will allow rain to get to the rain sensor. I did this by using a small length of pvc pipe which i attached to the underside of one of the roof supports of the garage with one screw. I plugged one end of the pipe and drilled a hole in the pipe near the plugged end of the pipe. I placed a small funnel in the hole. When it rains the funnel catchess the water and it flows along the pipe and exits at the other end of the pipe which is directly over the rain sensor. This was simple to do and works good. I also only had to put one very small hole in the garage where it can not be seen easily..
The bottom line here is that I think this mower works great and is going to be a big help for this somewhat blind old man. It is a bit of work to set it up especialy when burying the wire but you only need to do it once. If you are on the fence about getting this mower my advice is to just bite the bullit and do it. Just be sure to read the manual and do a good job installing the boundary wire. If you peg it down I would suggest to get more stakes as the mower does not come with enough of them unless your yard is perfectly flat with no bumps.
