This Adam 5-Tier a-frame ladder shelf by Winsome Wood® is attractive, freestanding, can be used as a bookshelf or display shelf and completes the Adam shelves and desk Collection. Features 5 shelves with various size for each shelf. Overall shelf size is 27.8"W x 12.9"D x 58"H. All five shelves are 26.3"W. 1st top shelf depth is 4.1"D, 2nd top 6."D, middle 7.9"D, 4th shelf 9.75"D and 5th bottom shelf 11.6". There is a 12" clearance between each shelf. Made from combination of solid and composite wood in black finish. Assembly required.

Poor quality and value
The bookcase arrived damaged so I didn't even get around to assembling it. It is incredibly lightweight; I would imagine it could hold only a couple of pounds per shelf. I returned it as it is very poor quality for the price.
