Waste of money
Tried both peanut butter and cheese. Caught nothing. Wore gloves to set so as to not add human scent. However, what did work: remove possible food sources, and lots and lots of tin foil. Mice hate it!

Works great if you bait it with peanut butter.
Get the occasional mouse in my basement.
One or two every fall when the weather gets cold.
The traps work fine even if they've been waiting for months...

This product does not seem to work; there are droppings around and on the trap but no mouse caught.
