Description
Designed with smart technology, this Whirlpool(TM) gas range has great features that bring convenience to your kitchen. It features EZ-2-Lift hinged cast iron grates for quick access to spills on the cooktop without having to take off the grates completely. For a more thorough clean, the grates are also dishwasher-safe. Frozen Bake(TM) technology offers pre-set settings that automatically adjust cooking times for frozen items such as pizzas and lasagnas. This freestanding range features 5 burners, including the SpeedHeat burner that generates the high heat needed to sear and boil quickly, and the oval central burner that can accommodate griddles and other larger pans. AquaLift self-clean technology removes residues from racks by simply using low heat and water, no chemicals needed. Using a smartphone or tablet, you can start the device, send several cooking instructions at once, or remotely disable the control panel and avoid any unintended use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the range is excellent for what I've used it for. I've only had it for 10 days, and living in Florida, I grill outside a lot. My biggest complaint is that the instructions on how to connect the smart appliance up with the app are not clear at all. I ended up selecting a range that didn't look like mine at all. but it allowed me to scan the QR code, which connected me. I'm hoping it's going to work like it's supposed to.

Not happy needing WiFi to program clock & timer

One improvement to make is "include instructions for the digital settings panel". We had to go on-line to get tutorials.

Perfect Fail
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had this a few days now and just not impressed with the controls on this.
The buttons are too unresponsive meaning you have to try to shove your finger thru the panel to get it them to work.
The timer is really a joke as far as letting you know it went off, it does beep when the time is up once, quietly and then that's it, we dont all cook using our phones every minute, so a louder beeper that goes off till you acknowledge it would be better. yes it does send a message to my phone , again do I have to use my phone to use this ? Who puts a clock in the control panel that is not centered in the panel, Are you kidding me if you are standing off the right side of the stove you can only see part of it. Who designed this control a 12 year old??? 2024 and this is the best you can muster? The storage drawer is also way to small ! Should have bought another GE

It boils water quickly
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't think the designers of this range cooked much on it. The oven gas valve is noisy, and the stove burners are too hot and don't turn down to simmer. You might burn some pans at first. I will learn to live with it I think.

Close, but not quite
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this range now for two weeks and overall we’re glad we have purchased it. Our disappointing part is that there’s not a complete manual for the homeowner how to operate it confusing is that when you go to the App Store there are several whirlpool apps, but only one of them that goes with this range, but there’s nothing to tell you that Had problems getting it linked up with my cell phone, but the only thing that it is linked up with at this point is with our in-home Internet and the clock there’s no detailed information that tells you if you push on settings you can judge us the volume of the beep It’s just it’s a great product but whirlpool has missed the boat. I’ll make it a completely five star product. Thank you.
