Description
This gas cooktop by Whirlpool provides ample space and multiple features. Among its 5 burners, there's one 15,000-BTU SpeedHeat burner that generates high heat to fry dishes or bring water to a quick boil. To simmer sauces, you'll love the 5,000-BTU AccuSimmer burner with power reduction function. The cooktop's design is easy to clean, and its continuous cast iron grates can be lifted for quick access to spills. Furthermore, the sealed burners prevent food from falling inside, and the SpillGuard raised edges stop liquids from leaking over the surface. The grates are dishwasher-safe for thorough cleaning. This cooktop can be installed near a wall oven or separately.

Wonderful product.

Rust in two weeks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cook top came with our new house by the builder. Lightly used for only two weeks with regular cleaning , the stainless steel plate starts to have rusty points. Can’t believe this is a brand new cook top. Poor quality,Very disappointed.

Ignites very well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This appliance came with a new home purchase. Gas ignites quickly, but not accurate. Even on the melt setting which is a low as you can get on the smallest burner we still had items that we were just trying to keep warm start to boil. The grates are very light, but the burners and the caps are very flimsy. During cleaning they slip and slide all over. I'm used to heavier cast iron grates and burners so maybe that's why this stands out to me.

Good solid basic range top
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was already installed in the home I purchased. I really prefer cooking with natural gas. I do wish the burners had a little more control, especially on the low end of the heat setting. The only one that goes low enough for sautéing is the smallest burner.

It is not heating up evenly and the spatula and spoons get unbearably hot even if u leave it in the pot for few minutes while oooking. Never faced this is any other brand cooktops. Hearing this is a common complaint
