Limited Choice in Black Stainless

o Two variable size burners
o Large oven capacity
o Quiet convection fan
o Purchase price
What I didn’t like:
o Black glass cooktop is easy to scratch – never scratched previous range for over 20 years
o Variable size burners crowd each other – should be further separated
o Storage drawer is small, won’t hold an over rack, or much else
o Oven controls can be confusing and counter-intuitive in places
o Frozen bake feature is not helpful – it lengthens entered cook time to compensate for not preheating, but food still ends up not heated through, requiring more cook time
o Convection baking seems to only be useful if the product being cooked has convection directions
o The range is not Wi-Fi capable but has Remote Enable and Connect buttons that are useless
o User instructions that came with range are useless – had to scour the internet to find 3-year-old instructions for a similar range

Electric range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hooked up last week, it would not recognize wifi, had to call support, was on the phone for quite awhile before it finally recognized wifi. Then Monday I used oven for the first time…. Filled the kitchen with smoke, was told “ oh that’s normal for the first few uses. With temps in the 30’s I had to open windows and wave towel to chase out the smoke.
Being under a microwave there isn’t that much light, would be nice if there was a back lite to see what you were trying to see.
