Load bowls and mugs in the 3rd Rack to free up space below and fit tall items where you want in this dishwasher with adjustable rack. Plus, you can move or separate the flexible 3-Piece Silverware Basket to make extra space.

We got a lemon that caused water damage!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worst appliance purchase I have ever made. It arrived on time, and it looked perfect. Installed per instructions and started its first cycle with no dishes. That's where everything went wrong. All of sudden we heard some strange noises. Then water started gushing from the bottom of the dishwasher. It never shut it self-down and when I stopped the cycle and hit auto drain that didn't work. Water kept coming. After mopping up all the water, I unhooked it and pulled it out and flipped it over so I could see the bottom. The Diverter Valve Motor was blown right out, and it was hanging by its wiring. Come to find out the mounting screws that were supposed to hold it in were nowhere to be found. They were never installed at the assembly plant. This was confirmed by the service tech that Whirlpool set out to repair it. It was nonrepairable. It turns out that the leak detection function didn't work because the water never made it to the leak tray with the float in it. Poor design if you ask me.
Needless to say, the water damage was bad. The kitchen floor lifted and warped beyond repair. It also ran down to our finished basement and ruined multiple ceiling tiles.
Whirlpool rep told me to make a claim with my homeowners' insurance. Haha. I did submit a claim to Whirlpool. Still waiting on a reply.

Super quiet!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new dishwasher. It is so quiet and and cleans the dishes so well. I don't even hear it when it is on. I had a Whirlpool dishwasher before this one and it was quiet too but not as quiet as this one. I would definitely recommend.

Great Dishwasher despite Water Restriction Laws
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) We bought this a little over one month ago and so far we are happy with it. However, it takes a LONG time for a dish cycle, compared to our old one. I can't blame the company for complying with silly water restriction laws imposed by Governments... In spite of this we get clean dishes. Something has to give when water use is restricted. I guess the excess time must be tolerated; the dishwasher does the job well enough, and is so quiet, we hardly notice. The modified top rack is more useful for small glasses and bowls than the old style flat cutlery-only rack.

Looks great, washes very well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have had for roughly a month so far. Appears to be a good machine. It is much lighter than my whirlpool that was 12 years old. The upper 3rd rack is a nice option. I would recommend this dishwasher. The black stainless looks awesome.
