You can also wash the knobs directly in the dishwasher at your convenience. This cooktop is equipped with a hot surface indicator light that lets you know when it's still hot to the touch, even after it's been turned off. Install this model with a wall oven or on its own for optimal flexibility. This product is backed by a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour.

Cleaning requires the use of ceramic cooktop cleaner or there are 'staining marks' where the burners are. Overall happy I purchased it

Stovetop grey area burning hot when cooking on the

We bought this new one and it it terrible we almost burnt our hand because the surfaces grey area got so hot that this has never happened with the old one. We need to exchange this

Going off Experience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frankly, I haven't used it enough to write a subjective review; however. I used another Whirlpool cooktop for 30 years prior to this one, and had ZERO issues with it. Only because I did a total kitchen redo did I get rid of it and buy new, and I bought Whirlpool again, based on my experience with the previous one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop replaces a Kitchenaid induction cooktop. I forgot what it was like to cook without induction. I do NOT like the fact that the bottom knob turns in the opposite direction of the other three. The first time I used it I was making spaghetti sauce and it bubbled out and burnt all over the bottom of the pan and on the cooktop. I cannot get the burnt area scrubbed off, I had the control on high instead of low like the other burners show. I chose the Whirlpool brand because you’ve been around for so many years. There are several cooktops that I could’ve chosen that were much less expensive but I didn’t recognize any of the brands so I chose yours. I assume it will take some getting used to. But after the first time I used it I’m very disillusioned.
