Description

Serious temperature control issue
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator model had a serious problem with temperature control from Day 1 and I needed to replace twice. All 3 o this model had the same issue, not being able to stay below 40 degree in the refrigerator. I set 2 thermometers to monitor th temperature fluctuation and found it was changing drastically from 36 to 50. The median temperature is an away above the acceptable range.
I had a technician to inspect in order to understanding how this significant range of temperature fructiations occurred in “all 3 of this model, He said he saw an increasing number of the same issues among Whirlpool owners. The delivery manager concurred, saying that he saw 6 returns in the last week (almost every single day, and this is not a very large city). The Consumer Report also rated this model’s temperature control poorly.
I am giving up on the Whirlpool after I was dealing with this fundamental problem for almost 4 weeks.

Enough storage space, although, should have 1 more shelf in th fridge compartment at the top instead of leaving so much air space. perhaps, that is too allow sufficient airflow. BIG MINUS is not having a compartment for deli meat. Also, the location of the freezer control is hard to reach.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice side by side. It did not have a meat tray but I was able to order an after market on line. We didn't want water or ice maker so the freezer is very roomy. Down side of this unit is it's very noisy when motor kicks on.

Simple style side by side
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a few weeks ago. Didn’t want or need water and ice dispensers. We use spring water for drinking and ice cubes. Came with 2 ice trays which was great for our specific needs. Seems to be working great!
