Satisfactory with a couple of exceptions.
Easy to transport. Easy to install. Works good and does what it says. Had to re-use the old fittings as the ones it comes with seem to cross thread easily. The unit has no backlight for the control board. Since every softener I've owned resides in the basement, a backlight would be a welcome addition. Had to purchase extra drain hose. We are in the country and have to drain to a sump pump rather than having salt destroy the concrete septic tank. Comes with 10'. Needed about 40'

Simple, easy operation water softener.
This replaced GE water-softener purchased in 2005.
Not sure how effective old unit was so when it started leaking into holding tank, decided it was time to replace it.
Far too soon to know how long it will last but it’s working well for now. Only thing I miss is the ‘days to empty’ to let you know how long the salt supply is going to last.
