Stupid Tumbler Design
Bought this yesterday and installed it vey easy and works ok BUT be prepared to have one lock in your entire house that locks differently. Someone at Weiser thought it was a great idea that when the lock is in the lock position that it is vertical. Every other lock in North America is locked when the latch is horizontal but nope someone at Weiser thought hey lets be different, lets make the entire North Americas change how they lock doors. Yup lets do that, lets force everyone to have our locks be different and change the visual of how the door is locked. For my 53 years when a door is locked the latch has ALWAYS been vertical. So now when we check to make sure all our doors are locked we have to remember that all existing locks are horizontal but remember that one Weiser lock has to be different and be vertical. Just like Budweiser thinking that forcing people for decades to change is a good idea. Ask the former VP how many company's are jumping at hiring her now.

EASY CHIC SECURE

I haven’t had a chance to install it due to travelling but I was shocked with how sturdy, and chic it was. The locks are extremely secure with an easy to follow set up guide! I’ll update once installed

Great alternative to keys!

I downgraded a star because I didn’t find it super easy to install, but it’s a beautiful product and I love the brushed silver finish. I also love punching a code to get into my house instead of having to fiddle with finding a key. Would definitely recommend!

Came with everything needed to make it look stylish and easy to use .colours match coordinating door hardware sold separately . Easy to program and make one key for all locks in the home. Only thing that would make this more useful is being able to control it by a smart home app. "I received these products for free from Influenster and Weiser in exchange for my honest review."

Excellent for Experienced DIYers
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The look of this Weiser Smartcode Keypad is very sleek and posh looking. It looks great on our black and white front door. The fact that there is an actual key hole is perfect for our needs since sometimes in winter with -40 celcius we have had issues with a previous battery-opperated model in the past.
It was a challenge to install in winter though, I'm not gonna lie! But, once in place, we enjoy it so much that we are thinking about getting another one for our side door. It is very easy to program and use though.

Easy to install
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This lock was easy to install for a home DIY. I like that I could set up my own password between 4-8 numbers and that it also comes with a traditional key incase the electronic parts break down. I didn't like that it takes 4 AA batteries (not included). There is no battery indicator so you never know when the batteries are done for and you might be stuck outside if you don't carry your key with you at all times. At least AA batteries are cheap and easy to find.
