Description
The Titan ControlMax 1900 Pro High Efficiency Airless sprayer provides handymen high output with more control and less mess. Ideal for painting and staining large objects, it can be used on interior and exterior jobs with unthinned paints and stains on walls, ceilings, and exterior finishes. The High Efficiency Airless (HEA) system decreases overspray by up to 55% while delivering a softer spray ensuring a consistent finish every time. It sprays up to 0.40 gallon per minute through the 515 spray tip (ideal for latex paint) and has adjustable pressure from the 0.70 horsepower motor. Different HEA sized tips are sold separately to match your coating and project needs. The sprayer pulls paint directly from a 1 or 5 gallon paint container for added convenience, plus when you're done painting you can store your tips and tools in the integrated storage. The paint sprayer also features a fully portable cart design by having wheels and a 50 ft. hose so you can easily complete large projects. The durable and powerful sprayer is backed by a 2-year warranty.

If you're a DIYer or a pro, this sprayer's your best buddy for a flawless paint job! I've sprayed over 100 gallons of exterior acrylic paint and over 100 gallons of stain with it and I've had no issues. Just kept up with proper maintenance and cleaning.

J'ai acheté le produit le mois passé et je m'en est servi hier.
Je l'aime bien mais le tuyau pour pomper la peinture est un peux trop raide et sa cause des trouble pour changer le 5 gallon.
La hose n'est pas assez souple ou juste mettre des raccord swevell

Effective and time saving

I will likely be looking to see if different tips have any effect on reducing the over spray and amount of paint wasted. Be sure to wear PPE when spraying so you aren't breathing in the mist.

I've sprayed over 100 gallons of exterior acrylic paint with it and I've had no issues. Just kept up with proper maintenance and cleaning.

Tall yet lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This machine seemed like it would be heavy but it was surprisingly lightweight. The sprayer comes pretty much assembled and the directions to finish assembly were fairly easy to read. The hardest part of the process was the prep and the cleaning of the sprayer afterwards. It took several gallons of warm water to thoroughly clean the sprayer. I like the ease of just dropping the paint can in the sprayer and go. We used the Control Max 1900 Pro to paint the walls in our office. It sprayed evenly and there was no dripping. We were impressed with the pressure control and the ability to truly control over spray. It turned out wonderfully and I'm impressed with the final results. I liked using the sprayer and recommend it.

Garage door painting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Wagner 1900 and it came assembled out of the box. I read the instructions briefly which was simple to understand and proceeded to load the paint as recommended. I used a latex-free paint to paint my outdoor garage door and The coverage was very inconsistent, first there were the areas where the paint ran, second there were areas where the coverage was great, and last there were areas that I will have to go back and put a second coat because it just didn't cover well. I will try once more on a different surface type when I have a different project to complete.

Professional Equipment and results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an excellent paint sprayer. I had a professional sprayer years ago, and have been wanting newer equipment for a while. You can tell this sprayer is high quality as soon as you set it up. I like that this sprayer has a long hose and you only have to carry the gun part. That helps when spraying overhead and gives you a lot more control. My first project with this sprayer was to spray 3 new doors we bought and the finish came out excellent. Definitely less overspray than my other sprayers. The only downside of this unit is the physical size of it and finding a place to store it in my full garage. I cannot imagine there is any project involving paint or spray that I cannot take on now.

Unfortunately, not what I expected.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The assembly of the Control Max 1900 Pro is pretty simple considering it comes practically completely assembled out of the box, all you have to do is adjust the handle, attach the tool box doors and attach the (spray gun, tip guard, and spray hose). The Control Max 1900 Pro was used 1/28/2023 to paint a two car garage door. The paint used to paint the door was an exterior premium latex paint (5 gallons). I followed the easy to read and understand quickstart guide (note: it would be nice if the quickstart guide was protected in plastic or laminated because it gets wet when you are going through the instruction process and easily gets damaged). One of the first things I noticed while setting up for the loading process was the stiffness of the suction tube. I notice this because it wasn't easy to place the tube in the 5-gallon bucket. I ended up using two techniques, one was lifting the entire Control Max 1900 Pro and lowering the suction/return tubes into the bucket. The other was tilting the Control Max back to be able to place the suction/return tubes into the bucket. It may help if the Control Max 1900 Pro was taller and wider to facilitate placing the suction/return tubes into a 5 gallon paint bucket. Going through the load material process, there was no suction so I had to go through the free the outlet valve process. Finally the material came up through the suction tube and flowed out of the return tube. Now to the beauty of this machine - it took less than 4 minutes to paint a two car garage door. I was so happy that it took such a short period of time I was already thinking about things I could do with the time saved painting with the Control Max 1900 Pro. My excitement quickly turned into disappointment and frustration. As soon as I reached the end of the door and looked back and the paint was running in several areas. So the beauty of the minimal time it took to paint was negated by spending quite a bit of time trying to remedy the running paint. Once that was all done and I was able to step back and look at the entire garage I noticed three things in regards to the coverage. The coverage was very inconsistent, first there were the areas where the paint ran, second there were areas where the coverage was great, and last there were areas that I will have to go back and put a second coat because it just didn't cover well. It was extremely disappointing, there would be a spot where the coverage wasn't good but area immediately surrounding the poor coverage was great. It was frustrating because I followed the directions and the results were so varied. I don't have any suggestions for how to remedy the varied results because I followed the instructions as written, so I'm unsure of why I got the results that I did. I even downloaded the TITAN App to become as acquainted as I could with the Control Max 1900 Pro. I accessed the app using my mobile service as well as several wifi networks and every time I attempted to watch the videos without success because they would began to play then stop and just spin. TITAN needs to correct the issues with the App. Now onto the clean up process - I followed the instructions and all was going well until I reached step 5, I pulled the suction tube out of the cleaning solution to discover that the inlet screen was not on the end of the suction tube. I had to fish the inlet screen from the bottom of the paint bucket. Obviously at some point it came off of the suction tube, perhaps this is why the results were so varied. I don’t quite understand how or why the inlet screen would come off while in the paint considering the sole purpose is to filter the paint while spraying. I recommend the inlet screen screw on versus snapping on because the snap on feature failed. I am not sure if or what damage has been done to the unit due to the failure of the inlet screen. Unfortunately the TITAN Control Max 1900 Pro did not perform as expected. Instead of saving time, the poor outcome from using the Control Max 1900 Pro has created a situation where I will have to spend an excessive amount of time to go through the process of removing the paint, prepping and repainting the garage.
