Description
The Control Spray QX2 paint sprayer by Wagner is an ideal staining tool for a variety of small to medium sized projects such as outdoor furniture, lattice, small fences or decks and more. The spray gun applies a smooth consistent finish with no brush marks and offers more control and efficiency than the average brush. This stain sprayer is designed for use with light bodied materials such as transparent, semi-transparent and solid stains and lacquers. It also features multiple adjustable settings to make your projects easier, including an adjustable flow control and spray pattern. When you're done spraying, the sprayer has just a few removable parts that rinse clean so that your sprayer is ready to use for next time.

I've wasted so much time ...
I had no idea I could use a sprayer to stain my outdoor furniture - not until my brother-in-law mentioned he had done it. I can't believe I've wasted so much time with a paint brush each spring! I'm thinking I'll restain the decks with way, too. This particular sprayer was super-simple to use - just one quick read-over of the instructions and how to clean and I was ready to go. Do I feel I waste some product with the spray? Yes. But I'd rather that than waste time.

Oldtimers Delight
Ok we are 75+ and have been staining our cabin by brush for many years. We don't buy "stuff" but decided to buy the Wagner power sprayer. Not sure about paint or indoors but we taped the windows doors and in less than 45 minutes entire cabin was done. I was right behind my husband on ladder doing the bottom half and as fast as I could to lightly brush or feather in to give smooth finished look my husband was doing another wall! Second coat was 30 minute work. In less than 1 1/2 hours a whole 5 years work was done! Love it easy clean up. Pay attention to directions and its a piece of Maine Blueberry Pie!

Great value
Bought a few weeks ago and have used several times with deck stain. Easy set up. Works really well. Makes staining lattice work easy. Clean up is a breeze. For a homeowner this is a reasonably priced tool that more than gets the job done. I would buy again.

Great Price but does it Work
It works great! Very easy to use and clean. It works better with oil based product. It sprayed fine with water based stain but it was actually harder to clean as water did not clean up in the nozzle as easy as mineral spirits did on the oil based product.

Good sprayer for stain and sealer
I bought this for fence staining and sealing. Once I got use to the technique of using it, I found it to be easy and fast. Much faster than by brush. The bottle could be larger to minimize refilling times, but I don’t view this as a big negative.

Nozzle clogged up.
I purchased this sprayer to spray stain on 15 lattice panels. I splayed one panel, and then turned it over to spray the other side, and from then on, I did NOT have to hold the trigger because the sprayer kept spraying. This caused a problem since when I completed one side of a panel, the sprayer would not quit spraying. I would turn the power off, but it would just spurt out stain until I unscrewed the stain container. I would clean the nozzel, and this would help for about 2 minutes, then the sprayer would not stop spraying when I released the trigger.
