Can this be screwed into the deck?
The Grande Trellis is designed to be installed into the ground and against a wall. You could screw it onto a deck but you would need some L brackets and it would still have to be against a wall.

What provision to mount into the ground? New England Arbor VA68200.
The trellis comes with ground mounting steaks that are a 12 inch piece of vinyl that you would burry and cement into the ground.

Beautiful and impressive
The Grande Trellis is massive-- VERY tall and wide. Check its dimensions and those of the space you want to fill first. Easy assembly. Put a large tarp on the driveway to protect the finish and use a rubber mallet to get pieces to fit snugly. Dig holes c. 18" deep to sink its anchor legs in garden. You'll need to tie the trellis at 1 or 2 higher spots to a 4x4" post or wall for complete stability. Finished result: beautiful and impressive.

Buyer beware
Not one of the slats fit the posts. Can’t get the posts even out of the ones I got in to even return the piece of garbage. Now what... and this was definitely not a cheap item!

Well designed, sturdy, and attractive.
Easy to assemble. All parts supplied are for free-standing ground installation. Brackets for wall installation would be a good addition for this product. Finished product is very attractive and should last for many years.

Love this trellis
I ordered and received this trellis very quickly. It is very well designed and manufactured, solid vinyl, and the directions are accurate and easy to follow. The vinyl rods line up and snap together very easily. You then secure it by drilling holes and driving in the supplied screws. I'm a retired gal with some shoulder issues, but I put it together in 30 minutes and carried it out to our deck. It is designed with leg extensions for placing in the ground and I will be placing it on our deck, so I must shop for footings-brackets. But I love it (and really dislike wood lattice - this is a beautiful alternative). It will be placed to screen a view and I'll set containers at its base with Morning Glory vines. Can hardly wait for summer!
