Are the two posts and top trim made of vinyl? Are they included?

Poor installing are there extensions from the post to go 3 ft into the ground

Can these trellises be stained or painted? Is there a 3 foot metal stake included for ground installation?
Hello there. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. We do not recommend painting our vinyl products. The white vinyl has a clear topcoat that is a UV inhibitor which protects against warping, cracking or discoloring. Metal stakes are not included, We recommend using 4x4" pressure treated wood posts and ready mix concrete.

How can I anchor this on a wood deck?
Hello there. Thank you for reaching out to us with your question. For a stronger installation, we recommend setting your trellis in ground with pressure treated wood posts. We do not have instructions on how to anchor this on a deck.

Lovely at first
I bought this over the summer and loved the look-about labour intensive and added costs to put it in, but that was ok. But the caps on the top keep coming off, and we’re worried it’s going to begin to rust-not great quality for something so expensive!!
