Description
These Vent Guard replacement baseboard grille filters are effective for household dust, pollens, pet hair, dander, dust mites, and carpet fibres. Disposable, they're easy to replace. Using these filters helps to keep heating system return ducts clean and extends the life of the main furnace filter. These replacement filters will save time with as they're made to fit, without the need to cut and mount them. They're sold in pack of 4 and are protected by a limited warranty. For optimal performance, filters must be changed at least every 90 days, because a dirty filter can slow down airflow. It makes the system work harder to keep you warm or cool, therefore wasting energy. Each filter measures 14 inches x 6 inches x 1 inch.

Great
I’ve installed these in my home over a year ago and love them. Yes they require some regular maintenance to clean BUT if these were not installed all the debris would be going into the vents. As for a whistle I have none and if you do have there are other issues in your system. Clean them regularly ( once a month) replace as needed. They are only restricting when You Don’t maintain!

Not what they appear!
In the pictures these appear to really be something substantial, but in reality it's just a dressed up version of the same filter you can by in the flat plastic packaging for a few dollars. Worse, these really do restrict air flow so they can't be used unless you want to listen to the whistling of air being forced through them.
