Skylight. 21 1/2 in. x 46 1/2 in. Fixed, deck mounted. Made of wood, aluminum and LOW-E3 glass. LOW-E3 glass provides year round comfort and energy savings and reduces heat gain by 64% compared with ordinary glass and 35% compared with LOW-E2 glass. Durable metal frame for a long life on the roof in extreme climates. Maintenance free pre-painted white frame, curved cladding and lower profile on roof. Protective deck seal provides air and water barrier for a simplified, leak proof install. Pre-mounted 'Pick&Click!' brackets ease installation for sunscreen accessories. Neutral grey. Warranties: 20 years on seal failure (moisture between glass panes), 10 years for defective parts on skylights and flashing, and 5 years for defective parts on sunscreening products.

Love our Velux skylights!

OK but hard to clean after installation
Three new skylights were installed by a Velux preferred installer and generally happy with the installation and the product. The skylights arrived with adhesives or glues all over the glass and is proving to be harder to remove than just window cleaner. We're also told not to use anything like a razor blade to scrape the adhesive materials.
The skylights seems to be fine - as long as you don't look at them from certain angles so that you see the streaking or the adhesives. Knocking off one star for condition and difficulty cleaning them.

Awesom Product
Had a roof replacement and also replaced the existing Velux skylights (24 years) with the with the Velux fixed solar-powered skylight shades.
I lower the shades during the day when the sun is out and the room stays much cooler, saving AC costs.

Brighter and cleaner
