Manual Fresh Air Skylights
We had two installed to replace a different make and style skylight. The skylight is great, and we really like them. I would give them five stars if the installation had gone better. We are still dealing with issues with the install. We have solar shades which is a great feature, And it includes a screen, which our old skylights lacked. Velux has been great at answering any questions or issues that we had.

replacement skylights with new roof
We replaced our old venting skylights w/the new model. Cranks and crank handles are now additional accessories. The scissoring vent arms were replaced with a large gauge bicycle chain which is harder to open/close. Was not impressed w/the loose fitting screens and had to get some screen rope to pressfit into the bottom of the window to tighten the screen and prevent critters from getting in.
I do like the solar powered shades.

Great upgrade to my old skylights
I had six fixed skylights with manual sunshades. I replaced them with new Velux Skylights with solar shades am now using the sun filtering shade more often because they are so easy to use. Great upgrade to my home.

Now skylight. Only issue is the manual one doesn’t come with a rod control (have to buy it separately).

Velux is the BEST!
Replaced a similar Velux skylight when we put a new roof on. Didn’t have any issues with the old skylight, but given it was 40 years old, roofer highly recommended it AND going with another Velux. The new/updated skylight is beautiful and very easy to operate… shopping now for a Velux shade.

Beautiful window
We got a new roof last summer and purchased a roof window that opens manually. It has been working great! We love the design and ease with opening and closing the window. Velux makes great windows, highly recommended.

Blackout!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these skylights. I can’t wait for the installers to come and fix their mistakes upon initial installation. Once that happens I’m sure I’d give them 5 stars. The shades are a treat. Truly a blackout in our room. They’re awesome.
