I have been using this product for a little over 3 months and love it. I had read a comment about how it left palm burns, so I was hesitant to use it. I have'nt had a problem with this. Unless your compost is rock hard, it shouldn't hurt your hands. When I first started using the aerator, it was harder to loosen the compost because I had it so packed down. But after each use it got easier and I found my compost breaking down faster.

Aerator
For thirty bucks, put a handle on the post part. You know, one that spins but stays in place for your other hand? I got palm burns from using this. That sounds a LOT dirtier than intended.
