It includes mounting holes and tracks for all types of installations as well as alignment notches to help align multiple plates with a consistent spacing. Ideal for new constructions. 16 1/2-in x 6 1/2-in. Lifetime warranty.

Works well in reno application
Bought this to work with lighting purchased at another store. Install was easy and plates are solid hole diameter accurate I can now cut holes in drywall to match rather then eyeballing locations.
