Good Rat Killer but not very durable
We have a rat problem in our area of the City and while these traps work very effectively in catching and killing rats - there are unfortunately not very durable. they seem to break after 3 or 4 uses too frequently. But unfortunately, it is still better than other snap traps out there. Strongly suggest to Tomcat manufacturer to try to improve the quality so the trap can have a longer useful life.

Deadly
Combined with Peanut butter bait and placed properly, I've used it 4 times on medium to big rats. No damage to the trap, and all rats caught with their head fully within the trap. It is very easy to open the trap and dispose of the rat afterwards. The trap is a bit expensive though.

The rat is smarter than the trap
Bought this trap thinking it will be effective. The rate kicked clean the bait and the trap did not even shut.

Awesome trap
Bought this trap today and found it very easy to use and bait . Followed the instructions and barely sat down when it went off, the creature did move about for around 15 minutes but the trap held it firmly (no blood) . As someone with low vision this was well worth the money even if I had to throw it out with the creature. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
