These 3-arm Trio corner brackets are specially designed for wood posts of 4" x 4" (nominal sizes; actual sizes of 3.5" x 3.5") for the construction of a Toja Grid pergola. They are made of zinc-plated 14-gauge steel, with superior quality powder paint, perfect for extended outdoor use. This product is backed by a 2-year limited warranty. Wood screws included.

I live in Montréal. More then 6 months of slow. I’m building a 10 x 12 frame. Nothing on top just fabric or wooden sticks for retractable fabric. Few questions: 1. Can they handle the snow (rust) ? 2. Can they handle a 10 x 12 frame ?

Easy installation
To make the installation easier on yourself, always store the pressure treated posts indoors for 2 weeks before using especially if the wood is found stored outside at the lumber yard. Not only will it shrink back closer to its proper dimensions sizing, they will lose almost 40% of their weight. The Tojagrid bracket openings are sized 3.75” square or 5.75” square depending on the 4x4 or 6x6 model you choose, so you’ll get 1/8” all around for wiggle room. I’d strongly suggest using the Tojagrid base and test the fit every week while it’s drying indoors before giving yourself a very aggravating time banging in wood that clearly doesn’t fit. Their simplest kit that bolts to the wall has 10 connectors.
