Did my research, this was the ticket.
I used this sealant on a 19 year old patio stone paver driveway here in Canada, The process from removing all the sand down 1/2 inch along with packing with clean fresh polymeric sand, tamped it 3 times, and watered to lock in the sand after 3 days of drying I ensured to use two bottles of the Techniseal Efflorescence Cleaner ( wow did that clean my stones up lots of foaming.
When i applied the first coat with a hand pump low pressure along with roller, I discovered alot of Efflorescence effect It randomized its white appearance however after 3 hours those white marks fade until i could not see anything. It was defintely a issue of moisture in total i gave three coats. on a 2 car garage that could hold 4 cars on the driveway i used 1 18.93 bucket plus i needed 1 gallon more to finish all aspects.
The results are incredible my stones have great colour enchancement the glossy look is just perfect it gives off a newness to them with the added benifit of a sparkle in the stone as well.
This frist 1 start here is defintely a issue of water on the grout lines were the sand was, I did my project from start to finish took me 2 weeks of my time off and on around 24 hours of total work..
Process was..
1. Remove sand grout between all stones.
2. Washed and deep cleaned all stones, removed all oil and organic stains.
3. Sprayed entire driveway with round up 3 applications to kill all weeds.
4. Filled grout lines with polymeric sand, rented a gas powered vibrating leveler, rand over tiles on three separate times to compact the polymeric sand to within 1/8 of a inch.
5. allowed tiles and sand to bond after water application twice to dry for 4 days.
6. Washed tiles with Techniseal Efflorescence Cleaner to remove any built up trapped salt in tiles.
7. Applied 1st coat with hand pump sprayer along with roller. used just a roller for 2 and and 3 coats. note you used a 1/3 of the sealer when you do a 2nd or 3rd coating. Stake it off.. and allow to dry for 72 hours. before driving on it, 12 before walking on it.
This process has allowed me ro recover a patio stone driveway that on its last legs, I invested in total for all 7 steps approx $1000 cad and feel like I now have a brand new patio. Neighbours have already make positive comments.
Final notes. don't freak out when you see the effloresence "White streak and bloomy parts on bricks. after 12 hours it completely fades away and is a direct result of moisture considering I never saw or had any rain for the 3 weeks as I worked on my patio. Its safe to say this is a normal aspect when applying I noted that with direct sunlight seemed to really kill the streaks until they completely disappeared. I would mention would be to take the cans and get it mixed up at the paint counter, this sealant is water soluble, so clean up is quick and effortless.

Awesome Product
I felt I needed to post a review for this product after reading the double posted review on this site. I've been using this product on my driveway, walk ways and patio for the past 15 years and I've never had anything but great results with it. The sealer brings out the depth of colour while leaving a mat finish. I wouldn't use any other product on my paver stones. I've tried a couple of other sealers before I found Techniseal and I've never looked back.

This product is not consistent. We bought two of the 18.93L containers applied them on the same driveway on the same day but the results were very different as can be seen in the pictures. I contacted Techniseal regarding this and spoke with a technical support rep. He said that this must have happened because of the rain. There was no rain from the time I started the job until I took these pictures. Therefore, rain is not a factor here. Then, I asked him if rain is the reason why the problem appeared only after applying the second container and the first one worked very well. He said that I was lucky that not both of them turned out as bad. This means that you are at 50% risk with this product. Unfortunately, the tech support rep. concluded that Techniseal would not honour any warranty on this product!
