Description
Made of brass, this Sioux compression T-Fitting is designed for strength, durability and rust resistance. It has three compression ends, each with an outside diameter of 1/4". The tee fitting is ideal for use with copper, brass, aluminum or plastic tubing. It is typically used for gasoline, grease, oil, water, vacuum and air line applications. The fitting is not recommended for use with steel tube.

STOCK THE STORE WITH MASTER PLUMBER 1/4" FITTINGS
This products uses a compression nut with integrated sleeve and inner tube insert.
The sleeve on these Tees have have a high chance of failing to create a good seal resulting in a leak. This design flaw applies to the 1/4" compression fitting.
I spent hours trying to get this nut with integrated sleeve to seal and stop it from leaking but the sleeve just fails to create a seal. The sleeve design is flawed, the diameter is too small. It may or may not slide over the tubing easily, especially if the tubing is not completely round or is not completely straight. Movement during or after installation may shift the sleeve and cause a leak.
Replaced with traditional two sided compression sleeves and compression nut and it was all leak free in seconds.
