Have a model hj604c_stb , you can get replacement blades for hedge trimmer but not for grass trimmer, .iam done I have bought 2 of these and can't find blades for grass trimmer.

Replacement grass shear blades were never available since I had originally purchased. Sunjoe put me on a list for when they came available. Never reproduced. Loved the product but once blades get dulled you might as well throw it away.

Too big for smaller hands, design changed
This is bigger than the previous lower-volt model, plus one of the buttons you must push simultaneously with another is now on top, rather than on the side. I'm female, and this redesigned trimmer is too big for me to use. Had to return it. The charger for the older one has mysteriously disappeared, so now I've lost one of the most useful tools for fall and spring trimming.
It will be fine for men but not for a lot of women, who tend to be smaller. It's women who use this tool more, I'll bet. Bad decision someone at SunJoe.

Use only for grass!
This is a great tool for grass but I've had two units and the plastic gear on both of them stripped, this last time on a lightweight vine after just two uses. Their customer service is kind and great in terms of speedy replies and they did send me a replacement after the first time. Unfortunately, the second time I wasn't so lucky because the replacement didn't get a new warranty, it went under the old one, which had expired.

Love it, but no replacement blades
Overall I love these trimmers. My biggest issue is the fact that I have had to purchase two over the course of five years because I cannot get the replacement part for the grass trimmers. I'm at the point where I may have to change to Black and Decker or another one where I can replace the blades. I use this weekly during the summer for trimming everywhere but I hate having to throw out a perfectly good electrical trimmer simply because I use it so much I dull the blades and I cannot replace them anywhere.

Makes trimming easy
I loved this tool for trimming the bushes I had failed to trim in more than a year. It was lightweight and easy to use. The bushes look fantastic.
