we have a closed in patio I was wondering if you can use this heater or is it only for outdoors ?

Difficult to ignite
This was fairly easy to assemble but is definitely a two person job.
The issue I have is that the switch for the pilot light does not work. In order to ignite the pilot light, we have to use a bbq lighter which is kind of a pain as the unit itself is quite tall.
Due to the size of the unit and the work to take it apart to return it, we'll just use the starter to ignite it.

Poor welds on main post, screw holes don't line up
The main post has only 3 very small, very poor tack welds that hold it on to the pedestal, and I expect them to fail within a year. I'll be reinforcing these welds with something a little more robust. The reflective shield is made up of multiple pieces that must be screwed together. The screw holes don't match up, and it was a real chore to get it put together. Given that it is aluminum, I expect the heating and cooling expansion and contraction will cause these to tear in time. Final point is that in high winds, this thing is very prone to tipping with anything less than a full tank. We live on a lake with very high winds, and I'll likely be screwing it into the deck, or building a brace to make it less tippy.
