Description

Very poor drainage.
I was very excited when I purchased this feeder to replace my wooden hopper/suet feeder but the excitement didn't last once I quickly noticed the poor drainage. I use black oil sunflower seeds which maybe are too large to allow proper drainage. I think this feeder would be awesome if the edging with the drainage holes was a bit wider and the holes were a bit larger. It's too bad that it's too late to return, especially with it cost as much as it did.

Drainage
I’m using the feeder for sunflower seeds and during a recent cold snap both feeder trays froze. The drainage holes need to be a bit larger.

Best all around feeder!
I love that it holds plenty of seed and I especially love the little ledge around the suet cages. The gives the birds easier access to the suet and all types of birds can enjoy it .I hope it lasts a long time.

Not what I ordered
The bird feeder I ordered is not what I received. Sadly, this was a Christmas present and all paperwork and box it arrived in were destroyed. The bird feeder that was sent was already owned by the recipient. Needless to say I am very disappointed.
