These Spyder Stinger high-speed steel (HSS) drills are of exceptional quality and durability. They also provide drilling performance and added value for the user. These drills are up to 5 times faster than titanium or black oxide coated drills. The exclusive Mach-Blue Nitro Armor coating is a super hard surface plating that retains the sharpest cutting edges and reduces heat build-up and cutting friction, resulting in faster cuts and longer bit life. The 1/4 inch hex shanks will not slip in conventional 3-jaw chucks and are designed for use with impact tools. The optimized 137° self-centring split point design prevents the bit from walking or wandering, even on pre-hardened or curved surfaces. They can be used on wood, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminum, stacked materials and other tough to drill alloys.
