Description
Spyder quick change bit holders are the durable solution for rapid bit changes in high-power rotary drill motors with a 3-jaw chuck. A 3/8-in quick-change connector securely holds 1/4-in hex shank driver bits and extensions for enhanced driving accuracy and one-handed ease of use. When the bit needs to be changed, simply pull back on the knurled sleeve and bits are auto-spring ejected, ensuring bits will not become stuck in the bit holder.

Unusual locking bit holder
This is an unusual locking bit holder. (1) The bit end is regular 1/4in full hex, designed for 2in bits. 1in bit will go in, but doesn't lock. (2) The drill end is 3/8in shaft with 6 flat strips cut on the side for drill chuck. But, it's not full hex, but rather rounded hex where the 6 round sides are equal to the 6 flat sides. So, you wast time trying to get the drill chuck to grip the flat sides, not the round sides. (3) There is magnet inside. I don't know why, because it serves no purpose. (4) To insert, pull the knurled sleeve (blue), and insert bit all the way to the end. If you let the bit just drop, then it will make contact with the magnet, and then you have to push in further past the locking bearings. (5) To remove, just pull the knurled sleeve, and the bit will pop out. I don't know which is preferable: losing the bit while working, or losing the bit after the work is done.

Trash holder
Possibly the worst but holder I've had. None magnetic. The bit continuely comes out of the holder.
