Description
The Smith commercial sprayer is designed not only for lawns but also for commercial cleaning, sanitizing and applying harsh chemicals. It includes a commercial-grade shut-off with comfortable grip, lock-on feature and easy-to-clean in-line filter. It features a 2-gallon tank, a 21" (53.34 cm) polyethylene wand with seals throughout the pump and a shut-off valve for long-term resistance to chemicals. The pressure release valve helps prevent chemicals from splashing on you before opening the tank. The sprayer comes with 5 nozzles for ultimate versatility: an adjustable poly nozzle, an adjustable brass nozzle, 2 flat fans and a foaming nozzle. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty.

So Far So Good
Initial testing and usage indicates it works good for around my yard. Only time will tell if it is durable on the longer term.

Smith Contractor Sprayer 2G is just the right size
Just yesterday, I used the 2-Gallon Smith Contractor Sprayer for the first time to spray horticultural oil on all my shrubs to control our annual outbreak of aphids and spider mites. Overall, I'm happy with its functionality. 6 to 8 litres is just the right amount of capacity I need to cover all the shrubs in my front and back yard. Its easy to pump. It held good pressure so that I didn't need to repump very often. I like the adjustability of the spray nozzle to control between mist and course spray levels. Only time will tell if this sprayer is durable for the long term...
On the negative side:
The first time I tested the sprayer with just pure water, it would not hold pressure. I could hear the air pressure leak coming out of the pressure release valve. I almost returned it back to Rona.ca. But, then I attempted to remove and inspect the pressure release valve. At first it was too tight to unscrew. But with persistent pressure, I eventually got it to unscrew. I took the valve apart and reassembled it. I only screwed it down just tight enough to stop any pressure release when I pumped pressure into the tank. Now there was no pressure leakage. For some reason, it was initially shipped with the pressure release valve tightened too much and somehow that caused it to not seat and seal properly. But, for now it is AOK.
Secondly, I like the hose length and wand length. But, I find the wand hose a bit too stiff making the wand a bit difficult to handle. A more flexible hose would make this better.

Exactly what I needed
Works great! Needed a sprayer for spraying my Dogwood, bought a Vivoson and it broke within two days
This one was $10 bucks more but well worth it, way better design and so far so good
